Founded in 1946, Boulton-Hawker Films has specialised in the distribution of educational programmes for use in schools, colleges and universities. For many years, Boulton-Hawker produced its own 16mm educational films which have been used widely throughout the world, but more recently the company has concentrated on the distribution of educational videos and DVDs.
It now has a full range of carefully selected titles covering Biology, Careers, Chemistry, Design and Technology, English, Geography, Health Education, Home Economics, ICT, Maths, Media Studies, PE, Sport Studies, Physics, PSHE and Psychology.
In 2005, Boulton-Hawker was acquired by Cambridge Information Ltd and moved its offices to Combs Tannery near Stowmarket in Suffolk.
